Pixel Forge
How a Web3 project grewon X without rewarding bots
5,800members joined via invites
3.1×more engagement per X post
-72%fewer suspicious claims
The challenge
Pixel Forge's launch posts on X got plenty of likes, but little of that energy made it back to Discord.
Their last allowlist giveaway was swamped by throwaway accounts, and real supporters felt left out.
What they set up
The team turned on a post tracker for their X account with a like, repost and reply template, plus a Grand Slam bonus, and set a 30-day minimum account age.
A monthly invite contest with a 7-day verification period replaced their old open invite race, and allowlist spots moved to the shop — one per member, paid for with points earned over weeks of activity.
The allowlist finally went to the people who actually showed up every day, and our X posts stopped being a ghost town.

The results
Thousands of new members joined through invites that stuck past the verification period.
Engagement per X post roughly tripled during launch weeks.
Suspicious claims dropped sharply once spots had to be earned.
